Each year, thousands of early childhood educators gather at the NAEYC annual conference to learn about and discuss the state of the early childhood education industry.
KinderCare Education showed up at the NAEYC conference to connect with these thousands of talented educators and industry leaders and put our stake in the ground – not only as the nation’s largest private provider of early education, but also as America’s Most Accredited.
But it didn’t end there. We showcased our 2016 Legacy Award winners, announced our accreditation milestone, shared data that proves our students are better prepared for kindergarten, and invited conference attendees into our Storytime Studio to share their stories and connect with our brand.
KCE’s Storytime Studio, a centerpiece of the Los Angeles Convention Center during the conference, was a space for attendees to take a break, get to know one another, and share their favorite classroom moments. Digital illustrators listened to hundreds of early educators share their stories and created unique, shareable drawings of each and every one. Look for these illustrations on our social pages early next year!
During NAEYC’s opening keynote session, we shared this video showcasing KinderCare Education’s journey as a brand over the last few years. We wanted early childhood educators from across the country to know that KCE leads the pack when it comes to high quality early learning programs, talented teachers, childcare benefits, and accreditation.
Every year, we invite our Legacy Award winners to attend NAEYC to further their own professional development and celebrate their accomplishment with their peers. Winners presented on a panel led by Elanna Yalow. The six teachers shared about their journeys as educators and spoke to what it means to teach in a NAEYC accredited center. By the end of the week-long conference, hundreds of early childhood professionals interacted with the KinderCare Education brand, got to know our Legacy Award winners, and shared their stories in our Storytime Studio, all while learning more about their industry as a whole!
