Language is an integral part of the early learning experience. In our centers, learning language begins well before children form their first word. Literacy is at the heart of our curriculum, and that’s why KinderCare Education is proud to sponsor the Portland Children’s Museum’s Word Play Month.

Word Play Month celebrates the wonderful world of words and storytelling. Throughout October, the Portland Children’s Museum is offering engaging activities dedicated to bringing letters to life. Children can enjoy puppet shows, outdoor activities, games, and crafts all while learning about letters and words.

During Word Play Month and year round, KinderCare Education employees in the Portland area and their guests can enjoy the museum for free when you show proof of employment.

Learn more about Word Play Month and upcoming museum exhibits, including a traveling show of Eric Carle illustrations (the mastermind behind The Very Hungry Caterpillar), here.
