When tragedy strikes, our first instinct is to help. This week, many members of our KinderCare Education family are experiencing hardship following natural disasters in Louisiana and California.
The US Coast Guard and other first responders have rescued more than 20,000 people in Louisiana following extreme rains and flooding in the area last weekend and this week. Nearly half of the state’s parishes have declared disasters—these parishes are home to our centers, staff, and families.
In California, wildfires have burnt through 30,000 acres of land. Residents of the San Bernardino area have been instructed to evacuate, and Governor Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency. Over 80,000 people have been displaced.
Catastrophes such as these happen quickly, and without warning. By contributing to KinderCare Education’s One Fund, you can help your colleagues when they need it most.
Sign up today to make a contribution, either one-time, or once per paycheck. Contributing as little as $1 per paycheck can go a long way toward helping someone get back on their feet.
