Last year, we removed juice from our menus in favor of water and unflavored milk. Instead of serving juice, which is packed with added sugar and liquid calories, we are proud to serve our children a variety of alternatives that are full of vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
In 2015 alone, we served 50,000 gallons of juice in our centers. That’s 25 cement trucks (or 38,282,496 teaspoons) of empty calories from sugar removed from our kids’ diets.
