Earlier this month five companies, including KinderCare Education, earned awards from ADP for using best practices in human capital management solutions that support their company’s human resources and payroll needs. The winners were selected by ADP with input from independent industry experts. Cathy Maloney, Senior Director of Shared Services for KinderCare Education’s Finance department, was on hand in Washington D.C. at ADP’s Meeting of the Minds to accept the award.
KinderCare Education relies on ADP for payroll and tax services, including the eTime system employees use to track their daily work hours. Employees can access the eTime system from a computer, but many use a mobile app.
“We are currently one of the largest users of ADP Mobile Solutions,” said Maloney. “For us it started out as something that was ‘nice to have.’ It’s developed into something that is much more as employees can now use their phones to clock in and out, and check their pay statements, and PTO balances.”
