Best in Class CDs take the NSC

Becky Robles feels right at home at the NSC.

Twelve  Best in Class center directors from around the country arrived at the NSC this morning to take a tour and meet with different departments. Kelli Watson, Susan Bennett, Amanda French, Tammie Garloff, LaFaye Briggs, Kristie Woodward, Karen Bowers, Kim Bonjorni, Becky Robles, Yazmeen Mazer, and Angel McKinney spent the day with various NSC departments and leaders to share their experiences and learn about what’s ahead for 2015.

“It’s good to hear that we have support and help in making decisions that affect our families,” said Yazeen.

Having the Best in Class honorees in Portland presents a valuable opportunity for the NSC to meet the best field leaders, gain insight into how they create successful centers, and figure out how to best support their efforts.

For many, this is their first trip to Portland and the NSC. “It’s so neat!” said Amanda.

Yazmeen Mazer talks with Joy Drechler and Regan Sheeley about Center Operations.

Tomorrow, the group will continue to meet key NSC teams for Q&A discussions, and will have the opportunity to chat with Executive Council and special guest leadership coach Barry Conchie. They’ll also get some time out of the office to explore the city of Portland.

Congratulations to all of the 2014 Best in Class winners and welcome to Portland.
