KU earns Certificate of Achievement from Iron Mountain

Ever wonder where shredded paper ends up? Every time a container of shredded paper is taken away from Knowledge Universe, an Iron Mountain driver scans the bin which calculates the average weight. The result of tons of shreds of paper? A positive impact on the environment. This infographic represents what KU’s paper recycling has done for Mother Nature in 2013:

“We hope that this will be a continued annual process,” says Charlie Killian, Records Manager in the Legal Department.
