Center Director Anne Sholes from the KinderCare in Rockford, Illinois, shared this Meaningful Moment:

A past parent from our center came in to drop something off for Ms. Kirsten, our School-Age teacher. Ms. Kirsten has been a teacher here for 14 years, and the [parent’s] boys, her former students, are now a junior and senior in high school. Ms. Kirsten wasn’t in yet, but the mom shared with me how Ms. Kirsten always believed in her boys, and to this day, she is the one teacher that they say has had the biggest impact on their lives. Mom made Ms. Kirsten a scarf of all of her sons’ summer t-shirts from their days at KinderCare. She even included the tags that Ms. Kirsten wrote their names on!
